Haters
It takes a child
In the wake of the news of "mama June" dating a guy who took advantage of one of her kids I'm saddened to think of the kids and how mama June's daughter must feel. Men are starting not to respect kids or women. That's how the industry works. Pimps and abusers disrespect women and children. As a God mother I can't imagine my sweet Goddaughter being abused or disrespected.
The industry I serve will claim that the women are empowered in the industry and some people working in it do feel empowered or fulfilled at least for a little while. But what happens when they don't feel so good about the industry?
Women and children are important and should be respected and I can't believe that mama June would let a child molester near her kids! It's disgusting! I know I'm not a mama yet but I would like to believe that I would do everything in my power not to put my children in danger. If you date a child molester you are putting the children in danger! It's disgusting and horrible. OK before I get too worked up I'll end this blog.

Ephesians 2:8-9
We are not that cool or special. We get to heaven by grace given by God and no other way. There is nothing we can do to get heaven on our own, no good deed is good enough. So when we judge others we put ourselves above others and that's no very Christian like and that's not what God would want.
Ministries like mine test our faith so much because it tests if we judge. It'll be so easy to judge anybody in the industry. I often wondered why anyone would be in the industry but I learned there are so many reasons. Some girls want to take control of their sexuality. According to some reports 96% of all women in the industry have been sexually abused as children or teenagers. When that happens to a woman she may feel like she wasn't in control of their sexuality and so they may try to take control of their sexuality by being in the industry.
Others may just be frustrated by men and dating. All women have been there. We have so much we put up with in dating between creeps and all the other losers. We have so many options of how to deal with the disappointments but some ladies decide that they are tired of men using them or letting them down that they decide to use men for their benefit.
Don't judge these ladies because you don't know what they are going through or what they've been through. We all have a past and unique stories that lead us to where we are today and the good news is that whatever we have done doesn't count with grace. Grace can cover a multitude of sins. When we feel like we are so far gone and unloveable God is there with grace to say that he does love us no mater what!
What is my ministry?
In this culture God's view of sex is weird, prudish and old fashion. I actually had men not want to date me because I'm saving myself for marriage. God is not anti sex, He is just against whatever is perverse and disgusting. We as a church really need to examine what we believe when it comes to sex, the adult entertainment industry and the industry workers.
There has been people who has offended the dancers in the clubs because of gifts they have given or words they have said to them. The idea that someone is doing something wrong isn't a thought that people like to think about. People also don't like to think that they have let friends or family down. These thoughts are just some of many put into some dancers head by people who thought they were "helping". You know what helps these girls? You being the non judgemental person in their lives, loving them like Jesus!
I had a few people in my life who have had an impact on me for Jesus. They were there for me with no judgement, only love. Sweet Rhonda has Jesus coming out her pores! Ben and Laura are an amazing couple. They show me what a Christian marriage looks like and they each showed me some things. Jonica has gives me advice about different things. There are so many others who have lead me down my path of Christianity with out judgement.
You'll never be Rhonda or Ben but you maybe to one of these girls. That's what this ministry is about loving with out judgement

She is running
A hundred miles an hour in the wrong direction
She is trying
But the canyon's ever widening
In the depths of her cold heart
So she sets out on another misadventure just to find
She's another two years older
And she's three more steps behind
Does anybody hear her?
Can anybody see?
Or does anybody even know she's going down today
Under the shadow of our steeple
With all the lost and lonely people
Searching for the hope that's tucked away in you and me
Does anybody hear her?
Can anybody see?
She is yearning
For shelter and affection
That she never found at home
She is searching
For a hero to ride in
To ride in and save the day
And in walks her prince charming
And he knows just what to say
Momentary lapse of reason
And she gives herself away
Does anybody hear her?
Can anybody see?
Or does anybody even know she's going down today
Under the shadow of our steeple
With all the lost and lonely people
Searching for the hope that's tucked away in you and me
Does anybody hear her?
Can anybody see?
If judgment looms under every steeple
If lofty glances from lofty people
Can't see past her scarlet letter
And we never even met her
If judgment looms under every steeple
If lofty glances from lofty people
Can't see past her scarlet letter
And we never even met her
Never even met her
Never even met her
Does anybody hear her?
Does anybody see?
Or does anybody even know she's going down today
Under the shadow of our steeple
With all the lost and lonely people
Searching for the hope that's tucked away in you and me
Does anybody hear her?
Does anybody see?
